Withdrawing funds from your Desi account through IMPS is a straightforward process. Follow the instructions below to successfully make your withdrawal. You will also get an idea of the typical processing time and what to do if the withdrawal doesn't go through.
How to Withdraw Using IMPS:
Log into your Desi account.
Access your profile by clicking on your profile icon.
You will notice a "Withdrawal" button alongside the "Deposit" button.
Select the Withdrawal button and choose IMPS as your preferred payment method.
Enter the withdrawal amount and fill out any necessary details.
Click "Submit" to finalize your withdrawal request.
Important: If you used IMPS for your deposit, you'll need to use the same method for withdrawals as well. The payment method for both deposit and withdrawal should match.
Withdrawal Processing Time: After submitting your withdrawal request, the process will typically be completed within 3 business days. This means it can take up to three working days for the funds to be transferred to your bank account.
Note: Keep in mind that weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and public holidays are not counted as working days, so make sure to exclude them when calculating the processing time.
What to Do if Your Withdrawal Fails: If your withdrawal doesn’t go through, it might be due to incorrect information, exceeding withdrawal limits, or other issues. In such cases, the funds will be refunded to your Desi account within 3 business days.
